Internships

 

Each semester, we are in need of several interns to help in a variety of areas, including case management, marketing, event coordination, grant writing and more. 

Development Internships

Intern(s) will assist in planning one of our three signature annual fundraising events: Taste of the Ozarks, Bowl For Kids’ Sake and Ozarks Beerfest. They will help secure silent auction items, donations and prizes, maintain the event database and website, write press releases and other messaging, recruit vendors and volunteers and more. Intern(s) will gain experience in sales and marketing, auction management, relationship building, database management and event logistics.

Program Internships

Intern(s) will assist professional case management staff with volunteer and child enrollment, program events, data entry and other special projects.  This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the nonprofit field working with children, families, and volunteers.    

Marketing Internships

Intern(s) will assist in the continual development and implementation of our strategic communications and social media plan, as well as the development and implementation of a volunteer recruitment strategy. This position may also intersect with special events coordination and development. Intern(s) will gain experience in public relations, marketing, design, strategic messaging for differing demographics and platforms, and social advocacy, as well as event planning and grant writing.
