Mission

To enhance a child's self esteem and outlook for the future by:

  1. Facilitating a positive one-to-one relationship with an adult role model with measurable impact
  2. Providing financial assistance for personal and scholastic needs

Enroll a Child

If you are a parent or guardian and are interested in enrolling your child as a "Little" in our one-to-one mentoring program, please fill out this inquiry form. If a child is accepted into the program and if an appropriate adult volunteer is available the process from acceptance to match will vary from case to case.

Volunteers are carefully and thoroughly screened, and matches are made to bring together the needs of the child and the skills, abilities and interests of the adult. Children must be between 6 and 14 years. Both the child and the volunteer are asked to make a one year commitment sharing time each week.

The parent/guardian must meet the volunteer before the child does and must give their approval and consent to the mentoring relationship.

Each match is assigned a professional staff member who works closely with the volunteer, child and parent/guardian throughout your child's participation in the program to provide guidance and support.

Once enrolled in the program, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks has a variety of support programs and events for our families.
